Considering my TV access doesn’t grant me viewing rights to the FA Cup, today the focus is on other clubs, as well as the Blues.
Firstly to Manchester, can someone please check the registration papers of Paul Scholes? Apparently United players didn’t even know he was coming back until the hours before kick-off. Then he appears as a substitute! He’s probably already played more minutes than Owen “he’s not injured he’s just resting” Hargreaves.
Secondly, I did think this is pretty funny, and humiliating and inferiotrinating to City fans! United, who won 3-2 at City in the FA Cup today, did a City-like Poznan. Check it out below.
Now to Liverpool, what are they doing on Merseyside! First they have Suarez the racist, then there’s the racist chants by Liverpool fans against an Oldham player in the FA Cup, now Stuart Downing is arrested for ‘allegedly’ punching his ex-girlfriend!
Over to Arsenal and they have completed the signing of Thierry Henry on a two-month loan. Shock horror! Actually the real shock is Arsene going against his morals of re-signing players who have left the club, hence his decision not to re-sign Patrick Viera, which is the type of player they never replaced! More importantly they now won’t sign Podolski, at least until the summer. Roman, go get him!
One punch wonder
Finally to Chelsea, safely through the 3rd round of the FA Cup, although they left it quite late. Torres apparently had a great game, setting up goals although couldn’t find the net himself. A goal’s a goal, right?
And we leave you with a happy story… Michael ‘Bison’ Essien will make his long-awaited comeback on Monday night in the reserves against West Brom. Good luck Ess, and see you soon!
