The French hitman is in hot demand after his brilliant season under Alan Pardew at Newcastle. The QPR striker was on loan at the Tyneside club for the 2013/14 season and his lethal form has attracted the attention of Arsenal and Liverpool, who are pursuing Remy.

Despite QPR’s promotion to the Premier League, Remy is keen to move to a bigger club and is already planning a move elsewhere this summer with a number of clubs keeping tabs on him.

Reports in France suggested that Tottenham Hotspur had been the first club to make contact with QPR over Remy, who has a £8m buy-out clause, but the French international is keeping his options open.

Remy stated recently that he is looking to impress at this summers World Cup.

He said: Remy said: “The World Cup is a showcase for me. Newcastle want to buy me. I do not know if I’ll stay there. I’m at a turning point in my career. It can push forward or stagnate.”
